Fraudulent Emails
We have learnt of several emails stating that they have won a prize or money from PC Gaming HQ. We have had several complaints these emails and we suggest that you do not read any of these fraudulent emails
How can you tell?
- Improper use of company trademarks;
- Sender’s use of free, non-corporate email accounts (such as Yahoo!, AOL and Hotmail);
- Requests for personal information and the promise of quick financial gain.
You should also check the bottom of your email for an email ID. The email ID can be used to find out whether your email is fraudulent or not. We will publish this checking system soon.
